アンデウソンは4月10日、ブラジルの有名なショーに出演しました。アンデウソンは試合後コメントをしたにもかかわらず、デミアンマイアとの間には確執はないと言いました。
Silva recently appeared on the popular Brazilian show Domingão do Faustão to defend his shenanigans on April 10th. Despite his comments after the scrap, the middleweight champ claims there is no ill will between he and Demian Maia.「試合は良く出来たと思うよ。自分のゲームをする事ができたし、マイアがゲームを支配するのを阻止する事が出来た。」シウバは言いました。
「彼に完勝することは出来なかったよ。彼はブラジリアン柔術のスペシャリストだしね。自分も柔術のトレーニングをしているけど彼の柔術のレベルには到底届かなかったよ。」
“I think I fought well, executed my game plan and disrupted Demian’s game,” Silva stated. “I couldn’t fall to his game because he’s a Brazilian jiu jitsu specialist. Even though I train BJJ as well, I don’t even come close to his BJJ level.「彼に対してもう言う事は無いよ。デミアンマイアとの遺恨はもう無いさ。彼の事をリスペクトしてるしね」
“I have nothing against any of my opponents. I have nothing against Demian. I respect his work a lot.”先週水曜日UFC野田なホワイトはESPNのショーにゲスト出演し激怒し、もしまた悪ふざけをするようならMMAで最も有名な選手でも解雇すると息巻いていました。
Last Wednesday, UFC president Dana White appeared as a guest on ESPN’s Jim Rome is Burning and threatened to fire MMA’s most efficient striker if he ever resorted back to his shenanigans.アンデウソンシウバはその発言に対してこう答えました。
Here’s what “The Spider” had to say regarding his boss’ threats.「私は勝ったんだ。ダナはなんでも好きな事を言っても良いんだ。だって彼はUFCのオーナーだからね。」
シウバは当然の事を言いました。
“I won. Dana can say whatever he wants. He’s the owner,” Silva matter-of-factly said.彼の試合での恥ずべき行為に対して故郷のブラジルで信じられない程の批判を受けたにもかかわらず、アンデウソンシウバはブラジルの若者に対して模範になるような振る舞いをすべきだという発言しました。
Despite receiving an inordinate amount of backlash in his homeland of Brazil for his “embarrassing” actions, Silva professes he should still be viewed as an influential figure among his country’s youth.「我々は若者にとって模範なのだ。若者はまた我々を模範だと思っている。私やデミアンマイア、ノゲイラ、チャンピオン、ブラジルの名を背負って海外で活躍している全ての競技者はね。」シウバは言いました。

「アンデウソンシウバの次の試合は本当にタフな試合になるよ。相手はチェールソネンだよ。ソネンは緩い試合をしない選手だよ。他の選手みたいな事はしない選手だ。」ホワイトは言いました。
“He’s got a real tough fight coming up. His next fight’s going to be against Chael Sonnen, and Chael Sonnen’s one of these guys who’s not going to lay back, not do what these other guys (did),” White told Rome.「本当に良い柔術選手が相手だとあんな試合になってしまうんだ。柔術選手はグラウンドで勝負をしたがるからね。ソネンもグラウンドで試合をしたがるけど、彼はテイクダウンを取りに行って倒そうとするからね」ダナは言いました。
“When he’s been in this position when these types of fights have happened, it’s been against real good jiu-jitsu guys, guys that want to get the fight to the ground. Well, Chael Sonnen’s going to want to take this fight to the ground, but he’s going to double leg him and bring him down,” said White.「個人的には、アンデウソンシウバはあんな試合をして恥じていると信じたいよ。おそらく彼はメンタル的に切れてしまったんだろう。何がおこったのかよくわからないよ。ただ言える事は次の相手はあんな緩い試合をさせてくれないしあんなバカな振る舞いもさせてくれない相手だということだよ。」
“Personally, I really believe that he was embarrassed by what happened that night, maybe he did have a mental breakdown, I don’t know what happened in the ring. All I can say is I know his next opponent isn’t going to be a guy who’s going to lay back and let him do stuff like that.”「もしアンデウソンシウバが次の試合であんなことをしたら、彼は解雇だね。」ダナは言いました。

■UFC112でアンデウソンシウバに敗れたデミアンマイアが自分の不甲斐なさについて語っています。mmafrenzyより。
「十分ウォームアップもできて試合中はいい感じだった。試合中は最初からいい感じだったよ。1、2ラウンドは上手くいかなかった。でも最後の2ラウンドは良く出来たと思うよ。
自分は試合をしようとしていたでも彼はぐるぐる回っているだけだった。でもそういうのもありだと思うよ。彼のゲームプランだし彼はそう言う事をする人だと知っていたから。私も彼にパンチしたし彼も多くのパンチを私にした。これは戦争なんだ。でもこんな試合は2度としたくないね。」
“It took time for me to get warmed up and feel well during the fight. I started to feel better in the middle of the fight. In the first two rounds I didn’t do well, but in the last two rounds I think I did well. I went to fight and he was running around, but it’s okay, that’s his game and I knew he was going to do that. I landed some punches and he landed many punches on me. It was a war, but I’m ready to do it again.「彼は私の事をあまりリスペクトしていなかった。でもそれが彼のやり方だから。試合が終わってかれは謝ってきたよ。でも試合中にあんなことをしておいて謝るなんて正しい事なのかどうかわからない。彼はまた試合をしようと言ったんだ。それはもちろんだと思うよ、彼は世界No.1だからね。でも次はもっと練習してから試合に臨むよ。」
He was very disrespectful to me, but it’s his way. After the fight he apologized but I don’t think it’s right for him to do this during the fight. He was swearing to me in the middle of the fight. It’s okay, he’s the best in the world, but I will be training to fight him again.「試合を長引かせてしまった事に謝りたいと思うよ。今まで5ラウンドも試合をしたことがなかったし1ラウンド目にすこし抑えて試合をしようとしてしまったんだ。最初からちゃんとやっておけば良かったよ。結局彼に勝利を持って行かれたしね。」
I want to say sorry that it took me so long to get in the fight. I never fought five rounds and I was trying to hold back a little in the first rounds. After I got hit I started to fight better, but he was winning already.
