■キングモーがランペイジジャクソンに苦言。sports.yahoo.comより。
「ランペイジは一発のパンチが凄いんだ。でもみんなそうだろ、どんなファイターも一発のパンチで伸す力を持っているよ。その程度のヤツだよ。彼の凄いのはそれだけ。パンチだけだ。それ以外オレは見た事ないよ」キングモーは言いました。
「コンディションもダメ、スピードもない、競技者としてもダメ、ハングリーでもない、やってることも集中力もモチベーションもない。レスリングさえできない。」

Lawal then commented Evans’ comments that Jackson perpetuates negative black stereotypes with some of his antics.「ラシャドの言った事は本当だと思うよ」
「ランペイジがそんな風にコメントしていること？ランペイジが卑屈な態度がいいと思っていたとしても、オレはアンクルトム(奴隷時代の白人に屈従的な黒人の例え)でも無いから関係ないさ。」
“What Rashad said was real,” said Lawal. “Did Rampage comment on that? If it was false Rampage would’ve been like, I’m not an Uncle Tom.’
黒人の英語は独特でだいぶ意訳になってしまいました…。

■JZカルバンがSTRIKEFORCEと契約を結んだとの事。fighthypeより。
アメリカントップチームのライト級JZカルバンがSTRIKEFORCEと契約をしました。JZカルバンはDREAMやK-1で活躍しました。彼は怪我のため2009年5月から試合をしてません。
American Top Team lightweight contender “JZ” Cavalcante has signed with Strikeforce. The Brazilian born Cavalcante, who is 14-3-1 (1 NC), has been a fixture in the K-1 and Dream circuit for years. Plagued with a plethora of injuries, he hasn’t fought since May of 2009.DREAMでの青木真也とのノーコンテスト試合や敗戦、川尻戦での敗戦でカルバンは新しい団体での再起を希望していました。JZはまだ若くSTRIKEFORCEライト級を盛り上げてくれる事でしょう。
Coming off of a no contest and a loss to Shinya Aoki, as well as a loss to Tatsuya Kawajiri in Dream, Cavalcante is hoping to rebound in a new organization. JZ still very young in the sport and will no doubt add more depth to Strikeforce’s already talented 155-pound division.
