■ケニーフロリアンが五味の1ラウンドで倒す発言に反論しています。bostonheraldより。
「僕を1ラウンドで倒すなんてとても難しい事だとすぐに分かると思うよ。」フロリアンは答えました。
「1ラウンドで打ちのめされるってことなんてないしそれが本当に現実になるか楽しみにしているよ。五味はタフなヤツだよ。彼は長い間世界一だったしね。」
“I think he will find out very quickly that that’s going to be a very difficult thing to do,” Florian said. “I didn’t get to where I am by getting beat in the first round and I’m looking forward to seeing if that’s going to come true. Gomi is a tough guy. He was the best in the world for a long time.”
ケンフロのお兄さんはこう言っています。
「おそらく五味は自信を持っているけど少しこの試合に関してプレッシャーを感じていてそんな大それた事をいったんじゃないかな」ケニーのお兄さんでトレーナーのキースは言いました。
「何故そんな事五味が言ったかはそんな理由だよ。でもそれが出来るかどうかは疑問だね。望むならば彼が１ラウンドで勝つ事を阻止して勝利を横取りしてやりたいね」
“Obviously Gomi has to have confidence and he’s probably felt a little bit of pressure so he made a big prediction,” said Keith Florian, Kenny’s brother and trainer. “That’s probably why he said it, but whether he is able to do it is the question at hand. Hopefully we can prevent him from doing that and come away with a big win.”
