■2010年2 月25日、Bitetti Combat 6で佐々木有生と対戦予定だったパウロフィリオですが遂に顔面にまでタトゥを入れてしまいました。cagepotatoより。
「これはマイクタイソンのまねをしているんだ。彼のタトゥはカッコいい。私は私だ。こっちにきて新しいフィリオの写真を撮ってくれ。私はドラッグには手を出していないよ。MMAで私を待っている人がいないなんて嘘だよ。世界中の沢山のイベントが私の事を待っているんだよ。」“It’s like what [Mike] Tyson has on his face. The tattoo looks good, I’m the one who doesn’t! Come here and take a picture of the new Paulao to show people what’s to come. I’m off drugs. This business about no one wanting me is a lie. There are a number of events around the world wanting me to fight for them.”
もう完全におかしくなっています…。意訳がおかしかったりして…。
【朝刊MMA】パウロフィリオがDREAM12欠場を語る/ダンヘンダーソンSTRIKEFORCEの公開体重測定に登場
■パウロフィリオがDREAM12欠場を語っています。bloodyelbowより。
「11月にネットで俺の試合があるって噂は目にしていたよ。だから体重落とすためにずっとトレーニングをしていたんだ。そしたら試合の4日か5日まえになってDREAMは俺に試合をしてほしいって言ってきたんだ。でも俺の体重はオーバーしすぎていたし、更に悪い事に日本へのビザを取る時間もなかったんだ」
“I had seen rumors online that I would only fight in November, then I slowed down my training and let loose on my weight. Four or five days before the fight, they inform me that I’m going to fight, but I was already past the weight. But worse was that I wouldn’t have enough time to take care of the visa for Japan.”
そんなことあるわけないじゃん！って思えますがDREAMならば直前のオファーもやりかねないからどうなんでしょうか？PRIDEからの悪しき伝統が今もDREAMに受け継がれて、世界一の格闘技団体だったPRIDEがやるなら良かったんですが育成組織に成り下がったDREAMがこんな状態じゃ良くないですよね。

「彼はDREAMで闘っていて来年の３月までにはSTRIKEFORCEで闘ってほしいファイターの一人なんだ」

上記はSTRIKEFORCEの代表が語った言葉でもちろんまだ未定な話ですがもうDREAMなんてやめて”世界の青木”を目指してもらいたいですね

【朝刊MMA】TUF10キンボ、ランペイジと握手/ムサシ、パウロフィリオが絶対ステロイドを使っていると言い切る
■TUF10の放送直前プロモーションビデオが始まりました。今回のメンツの紹介とキンボの登場には英語がわからないとしてもわくわくしてくる動画に仕上がっています。

まずはパウロフィリオがムサシについて語っています。
「俺はムサシと闘いたい、それはあることを証明する為だ。彼は俺程の強さを持っていない。彼は俺程グランドテクニックを持っていない事を。
彼は優れてストライカーだよ、でも私程強くない。一回でも倒れれば彼を極める事ができるだろうよ」
ムサシがババルに勝った事を聞かれてパウロフィリオはそう言い切りました。
「彼はいいトレーニングをしていると思うよ。でも彼は俺を打ち負かす程の身体じゃない。もし彼が勝ったらギャラはいらないよ。でも彼が郷野に負けた時以上に叩きのめしてやることが俺には出来るよ。」とWEC前ミドル級王者は言いました。
“I wanna fight Mousasi and show that with against me is a whole different thing… He doesn’t have my strength, he doesn’t have my level on the ground. He can be a better striker, but he doesn’t have my strength and he’ll go down once and be submitted”, guarantees Fiho, commenting Mousasi’s fight against Sobral. “HE’s well trained, but I don’t think he’s healthy enough to beat me… If he wins, I don’t even want my salary. But I guarantee he’ll be beaten more than he was against (Akihiro) Gono”, said the former WEC middleweight champion.
それにたいしてムサシは
「彼がアメリカに来た時起きた事、それは昔と違って、ほんとうに駄目になってしまった。彼は今日本に戻ったけど、かれは子供みたいになっちゃったね。彼は全ての種類のステロイドを使っているよ。僕が思うにステロイドが彼の脳まで言っちゃって彼は以前日本で試合していたみたいなパフォーマンスをアメリカではできなかったんだ。
今でも突然大口を叩くだろ。彼はすこし頭がおかしいんだ。彼はステロイドで自分が競走馬になったぐらいに思っているけど実際はポニー見たいな子馬だよ。彼は絶対ステロイドを使っていたよ。

僕は日本でも闘っているけど何にも使ってないよ。ドラッグテストがあるところであれば、彼が望むところどこでも闘うよ。
」
“What happened when [Filho] came to America, he wasn’t…he got beat up really bad. Now he’s back in Japan and he feels like a kid in a candy story, I think. He can use all kinds of steroids. And I think the steroids have gone to his head…[Filho] didn’t perform the same as he does in Japan as he does, how you say, in America. And now he suddenly has a big mouth again. I would say that he’s a little donkey that, he’s on steroids, he thinks he’s a running horse. But, he’s more like a little poney…I really believe that he used steroids.I also fight in Japan and I don’t use anything…If there’s an athletic commission test, he can fight me everywhere, everywhere he wants.”
ムサシ言いますね。頭がおかしいとまで言いますか…。
パウロフィリオとどこでも闘うって言ってますけどDREAMではドラッグテストやってない?から実現しないし、ドラッグテストをやっているところだとパウロが引っかかって実現しないし。つまりやらないってことになりますね…。

「彼は左に動いたら私は別の方向に動くよ。彼がキックしようとしたらストレイトをぶち込んでかれをノックアウトする。私はまだ試合のプランを練っていないんだ。でも私のボクシングテクニックを信じるよ。
今とてもハードにトレーニングをしている。私はミルコをとらえる事が出来ると信じている。ボクシングのコーチはもしいいところにパンチが決まればそれで試合は終わるって言ってくれる。KOしたいけど試合は試合だから何がおこるか分からない。
ミルコをリスペクトしなきゃいけない。みんなミルコは昔程強くないって言うけど彼は今でも危険なファイターの一人だよ。彼は一発で試合を決める事ができる。彼の左のキックは凄いけど彼の左パンチも警戒しなきゃいけない。この試合は重要な試合だよ。ミルコは世界的にも人気だから彼といい試合をすることが必要だよ。今一生懸命練習をして集中して自信を高めているんだ。彼のあごをとらえたいんだ。私は彼をノックアウトしたい。ミルコのあごを狙うよ。試合に集中して自分のベストを尽くして勝ってケージから出たいね。」
“He is going to move to the left and I will go the opposite way. When he sets the kick I will land a straight big right hand on his face to knock him out…I still don’t know what plan to follow against him but I believe in my boxing. I train it so much. I know I’m able to catch Mirko. Luiz Dorea (boxing coach) says if I land a punch on the precise place, it’s over. I’ll look for another the KO but a fight is fight and nobody knows what’ll happen…Cro Cop has to be respected. People may say he is not the same but, for me, he continues being one of the most dangerous MMA fighters. He can finish a fight with only one hit. He left kick is very good and I need to take care with his left hand too…This is such a fight that marks your life, you understand? That’s how I see it. Mirko is a world sensation and it’s crucial for me to fighting well against him. I’m training hard, focused and full of confidence…I’ll search for his chin in there. I want the knockout. I will catch CroCop’s chin. I only have to take care in the fight and do my job to get out from the cage with the victory.”
ミルコもここで勝って復活するか、ここで負けて後退するか。ミルコの正念場ですね。
