再びダナホワイトはMMA業界で秘密にしておかなければいけない事を暴露しました。STRIKEFORCEのミドル級チャンピオンでフリーエージェント中のジェイクシールズがUFCに出場することです。

Strikeforce middleweight champion and impending free agent Jake Shields is on his way to the UFC, according to White.「彼の契約期間とか45日間だとか60日間だとかいろいろな論争があったけど、それが別に560日間でも構わないんだ。だって実際の話ジェイクシールズはUFCにやってくるんだから」ホワイトは今週土曜日の番組で断言しました。
“There’s a lot of controversy over how long his contract is, whether it’s 45 days, 60 days, I don’t care if it’s 560 days, I know exactly where Jake Shields’ is coming,” White confirmed while appearing on ESPN2’s MMA Live this past Saturday.ダナがシールズがオクタゴンでデビューさせようと言う考えは分かりましたが、いつデビューするのかが疑問です。
Now that White has made his intentions perfectly clear regarding Shields’ Octagon future, the only question is when the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu trained fighter will make his debut.広く知られている事はシールズがUFCと契約を結んだ後、彼はウェルター級に階級を移しGSPのタイトルを狙うと言う事です。
It is widely believed that when Shields inks his UFC contract, he’ll be competing in the welterweight division and will challenge Georges St-Pierre for the title.GSPの次の相手はジョシュコシュチェックで12月に行われる事はほぼ決定しています。彼らは次のTUFの収録が終わった後に戦います。
St-Pierre’s next opponent will be Josh Koscheck – at an event most likely destined for December – after they complete taping next season’s edition of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

パウロフィリオに関するびっくりするというかいつものことなニュースがGRACIEMAG.comに飛び込んできました。彼はもう５月13日に行われるBellatorに出場しないようです。彼はヘクターロンバートと戦う予定でした。
パウロフィリオによるとビザの取得がお役所体質のためか困難で出場出来ないと言う事です。
An upset Paulo Filho confirmed the news that reached the GRACIEMAG.com newsroom. He will no longer fight at the May 13 Bellator show, where he would have faced Hector Lombard. According to the fighter, the bureaucracy involved in getting his visa was what held him back.「Bellatorから書類が届くのが遅くて領事館に行く必要があるらしいんだ。またよくわからないけどマネージャーが何か間違ってしまっていたようなんだ。だからビザを取る時間がないかもしれない。自分でもどうしていいのかわからないよ、だって凄く練習してきたしね。やれる事はすべてやったんだ。なんて言っていいかわからないよ。」彼は言いました。
“It seems the event took too long in sending out the letter I needed to present at the consulate and I’m not sure but it could be there was some kind of failure on the part of my managers. So, I won’t get my visa in time. I’m really upset because I’ve been training a lot. I did everything just right; I don’t know what to say,” he says.「凄く落ち込んでいるよ。でもトレーニングは続けていくよ。なにか好転するかもしれないしね。」そう言って彼は会話を終わりにしました。
“It got me down, but I’m not going to stop training. Something good will turn up,” he says in finishing.

ここ最近負けてないヘクターロンバートに勝ったら、このあとどうするんですか？
Beating Lombard, who has been unbeaten for a while, what do you expect for the end of the year?この種の質問に関してはよくわからないな。もっと戦いの事を考えたいしまだ時間もあるしね。まだ31歳だけどそう長くは試合が出来るとは思ってないよ。とにかく失った時間を取り戻したいよ。同じような間違いを何度も繰り返したくないんだ。自分の悪い面が出て何度も間違いを犯したよ。その事から何も学ぶ事が出来てなかったんだ。
とにかくヘクターロンバートとの試合に集中するよ。次の試合の事は心配してないよ。我々はハイレベルなアスリートだよ。良い練習もしてきたしね。でも最も重要な事はパウロフィリオは変わったと言う事を皆に分かってもらう事だよ。ずっと問題を抱えていたんだ。皆と同じようにね。今重要なのはヘクターロンバートに集中する事だよ。彼が良い対戦相手かとかベルトを持っているかいないかとか自分が18勝1敗の選手であるかどうかは関係ない事なんだ。自分の事を完璧なアスリートだと思っているし、決して楽な練習はしていないよ。楽な練習もあるけど、全てが全てそうじゃないんだ。自分にはスゴいバックグラウンドがあるんだ、彼と同じようにね。
I don’t think a lot about these kind of things, I think more about the fight itself and the time I still have. I’m 31 and don’t intend to fight for much longer. I just want to recover the lost time. I won’t make the same mistakes again then that one I committed when I was going through a rough phase, we can’t learn from everything. I’m just focused on Hector Lombard, I’m not worried about the event I’m fighting in and these things. We’re high-level athletes, we’re used to have a good life, but the most important is to show people that may think that Paulo Filho is done that he’s not. I have problems, so does everybody. The important thing now is Hector Lombard. It doesn’t matter that he’s in a good sequence of fights or if he has our not a belt, even because I’ve got an 18-1 cartel. I consider myself a complete athlete, never had easy time. Some easier, but none of them were a piece of cake. I have a expansive background, so does he.
訳は意訳です。実際彼は18勝2敗ですが不戦敗が含まれているので18勝1敗と言っているかと思います。他にも試合が予定されていたのにすっぽかし等もありますが。
