but in short, ZUFFA is trying to distinguish UFC from MMA and get ‘UFC combative sports’ legalized in certain local governments while ‘MMA’ would still be ‘illegal’. Great business tactic if you want to dominate the sport.

木曜日の時点で、FEGはヒョードルをDynamite!! 2010に参加させるためにM-1グローバルとコンタクトを取った。対戦相手はまだ未定である。
As of Thursday, FEG has contacted M-1 Global in order to get Fedor Emelianenko to participate in Dynamite!! 2010. No opponent has been named.
秋山はUFCから解雇されないだろう。先走った報道もあったが。
Yoshihiro Akiyama will not be cut from the UFC, despite some premature reports.

「菊野との試合でまだファイトマネーを支払ってもらってない。DREAMが苦しんでいようが、彼らがどう考えていようが関係ない。でも彼らはまだ支払ってくれてないんだ。」とJZは語りました。
“My last fight with Kikuno, I haven’t been paid yet. (Dream is) struggling. I don’t know what they’re thinking, but they didn’t pay me yet,” Cavalcante told MMAWeekly.com content partner TapouT Radio.

“I’m not saying I’m done with them, but I’m not going to fight until they pay me and try to come out with something and try to explain because they don’t even answer my manager. My manager called them and they don’t even answer,” added Cavalcante. “They did not come out with an explanation. I feel disrespected from them. I’m not looking to fight for them for a while.”

“It’s sad because Dream is a nice event. The event in Japan, it’s cool. It’s an honor with the history, the samurai spirit and everything. It’s a good show also. I would like to fight for both especially because I have my crowd over there,” stated Cavalcante. “I would like to keep fighting back and forth, but unfortunately it’s not going good.”

「STRIKEFORCEでは、試合が終わったあとすぐに払ってくれる。なぜならボクシングコミッションが試合後すぐに渡すべき金額が全て支払われたか尋ねてくれるからね。だからもうギャラは手元にあるんだ。本当に素晴らしいことだよ。試合をしたら、取り分はもらいたいはずだよ。」JZは言いました。
“In Strikeforce, they pay you right after the event because the boxing commissions, they ask you for the checks and everything to be paid to the commission that they pass to the fighters right after the fight. So I already have my check from the fight (with Josh Thomson last week), which is really good. You fought, you want to have your money,” said Cavalcante.

「もしちゃんと歩けるようになったらドクターは12月に試合をしていいって言ってくれたよ」ショーグンは膝の怪我について語りました。
「でもちゃんとした形で復帰するなら１月か2月に試合をするほうがいいね。時間をかけたいね。UFCはビッグパートナーさ。彼らは急がせようとしないよ、彼らは私の良いようにさせてくれるんだ。」
“If everything walks well my doctor said that I could start fighting in December,” “Shogun” said of his knee recovery. “But to get a more comfortable return I prefer to fight in January or February. I wish to give time to time. The UFC is a big partner, they don’t hurry me up, they let me feel comfortable to decide.”

Many fans are calling for a match up between the two exciting fighters and, while he expressed more interest in fighting Randy Couture or rematching Forrest Griffin, Rua did reveal that he is open to a fight with “The Spider.”

“I have to improve so much yet,” said “Shogun.” “Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, chiefly in wrestling. If I guess I’m good I stop to develop my skills. I feel accomplished but I own many dreams to achieve. Certainly I have wood to burn. I think to fight for another seven years at the minimum.”
