【朝刊MMA】ランペイジやっぱりAチームへ。UFC107欠場か/ジャカレイ、メイヘムを挑発

■デマとの噂もあったランペイジジャクソンの映画Aチーム出演の話が本決まりになったようで。その絡みでいろいろと問題が噴出しているようです。sports.yahoo.comより。

MMAのスケジュールが混沌としています。UFCはメンフィスでTUF10の続きのカードを12月12日に準備をしていました。なぜメンフィスなのかと言うとそれはランペイジジャクソンの生まれ故郷だからです。彼はTUF10のコーチ対決、ランペイジVSエバンスの試合を行う予定でした。
The scheduling twists are non-stop in mixed martial arts. UFC is all set to debut in Memphis with a card following “The Ultimate Fighter 10″ on December 12. Why Memphis? Well, it’s Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s hometown and he was expected to take on fellow TUF 10 coach Rashad Evans in a much-anticipated fight.

しかくイギリスのサイトでジャクソンのチームと密接な関係のあるMMABayによると、その試合は行われないとのことでした。ジャクソンVSエバンスはランペイジがAチームのBAバッカス役を演じるので中止になったからです。
Aチームは今バンクーバーで撮影中です。彼はUFC107に向けて十分な練習時間をとることが出来ないのです。
But according to MMABay, a British MMA site with close ties to Jackson’s camp, that won’t be happening. The site reports that the Evans-Jackson fight has been dumped from the card because Rampage is expected to play the role of B.A. Baracus in the new “A-Team” movie which is currently filming in Vancouver, and he would not have had time to get in full training camp before UFC 107.

サンではジャクソンがAチームに出ると報道したようです。
UPDATE: The Sun confirmed that Jackson did get the role in “The A-Team”.

本当に馬鹿げた事だ!
今までにない最高のTUFだったのに、エバンスとジャクソンの対決を数ヶ月待たなきゃ行けないなんて。UFCのダナは今イタリアへの飛行機に乗っていてコメントを取る事が出来ない状況です。
Wow, what a bummer! After what should be the best TUF season ever, now we have to wait months for Evans and Jackson to climb in the cage? UFC president Dana White, boarding a plane for Italy on Friday, was unavailable for comment.

一体出るのか出ないのか、ランペイジは本当にお騒がせ野郎ですね。
UFCもジャクソンも良い方に転んでくれれば良いのですが…。

■STRIKEFORCEでメイヘム-ジェイクシールズ-ジャカレイの三角関係が勃発の様相です！adcombatより。

まずはジャカレイのインタビュー

「ジェイクシールズのインタビューを読んだよ。俺が言いたい事はジェイクシールズを打ちのめす用意ができているってことかな。ジェイクシールズのグランドテクニックは過大評価されているよ。俺なら彼をささっと締め上げてベルトを奪えると思うよ。ジェイク、言う事はだれでもできるけど、おまえホントにやれんのか？？本当にできるなら、やろう。すぐにでも闘ってやるぜ。」
“I just read Jake Shields interview on mmaweekly.com and I would like to make a statement saying that I am more than ready to step up and smash Shields. I think Jake Shields ground game is overrated and I will be more then glad to end his win streak and take his belt away. So Jake, you talk the talk, but can you walk the walk, if you can, let’s do it, I accept the fight against you right now. So what’s it gonna be.

あと王様気分のジェイソンミラーにもメッセージを送りたい。俺のまねしてSTRIKEFORCEにやってくるのは大きな間違いだ。この前の試合も決着がついてないし、決着をつける事ができなくて本当にいやだったよ。
そんな中でSTRIKEFORCEに来て心残りだったけど、彼を連れてきてくれたスコットコーカーとSTRIKEFORCEとサインしちまったバカなメイヘムには感謝しているよ。今や同じ団体にいるんだからね。彼はそれを望んでなかったかもしれないけど。
だからメイヘムがすべきことはというと、俺と闘う準備をすることだよ。お前は俺の次の対戦相手だ。ジェイクシールズをやっつけてから闘ってやるぜ。
And I also would like to send a message to the clown ” Jason Miller , you made a huge mistake to follow me into Strikeforce” we have an unfinished business and I was afraid that I might not be able to finish it, since I came to Strikeforce, but thank’s to Scott’s efforts and Jason’s stupidity, he signed, So now we live in the same house, and he is not welcome there” ” So Jason do whatever it is that you need to do , be ready and you are next on my list, after I finish Jake”

凄く意訳が入ってしまいジャカレイが相当な悪者になったような…。ニュアンスだけ感じ取ってもらったら嬉しいです。

でメイヘムはジェイクシールズに対してこんなことを言っています。

「ジェイクシールズなんてすぐにやっつけてやるぜ、彼もそうなる事を知っているよ。もし俺が負けると思っているなら別にそれでもいいよ。そんな風に思っているヤツらにそれが間違いだって証明してやるよ。俺の方が彼よりなんだって勝っているんだ。背だってデカイし、彼よりも強い！！
ジェイクが170パウンドの選手を打ち負かしたり、ロビーローラーに退屈なギロチンで勝って、まるでキリストの再来ってぐらいの勢いで彼を見ている事が俺には良く理解出来ないよ…
いいかい、俺は彼をやっつける。彼と闘った時には、彼をぐちゃぐちゃにしてやるよ。」
”Dude, I will beat the piss out of Jake Shields, and he knows it. If everyone thinks I’m gonna lose, that’s fine. I’ll prove them wrong when we get in the cage against each other. I do everything better than him, and I’m bigger than him and stronger than him! I don’t understand, people think that because he stomped out some 170-pounders and caught Robbie Lawler in a damn guillotine, that all of a sudden he’s the second coming of Christ. Well guess what, dude? I’m gonna smash him. When I fight him, I’ll smash him.

それを受けてジェイクシールズは

「彼が俺をやっつけるって？？だって彼はまだ契約すらしていないんだよ…。私は彼と今晩でも試合をする契約をむすびたいんだけど、彼はまだ話し合いやらなにやら必要みたいで、まだサインもしていないんだよ…。
彼のマネージャーは私たちに試合することはOKでメイヘムも同意したけど、メイヘムは10月は試合が出来なくて11月にしてくれって言っているって聞いたよ。以下略」
”He’ll beat the piss out of me..? He’s the one that won’t sign the contract. I would sign that fight tonight but he just wants to talk and act tough, but he’s the one that won’t sign. His manager tells us the fight is on, Miller has agreed and then I’m hearing he’s decided he can’t fight in October but would maybe do it in December. ”

なにがどうなっているか分からないですがいろいろな人の私利私欲によってこんなことになっているんでしょうね。でもこんな舌戦があった方が盛り上げっていいちゃいいです。
