【朝刊MMA】ザロムスキーって??/M-1でキングモーVSドンフライ/UFCハワイで開催か

■多分世界中のMMAファンの多くが思っている事ですがDREAMウェルター級GPで優勝したザロムスキーって誰ってことでcagepotatoがザロムスキーの紹介を行っています。

彼はリトアニア人でもロンドンのジムの所属だ。
1) He’s Lithuanian, but made his name as a London Shootfighters rep in the U.K.’s Cage Rage promotion.

彼のニックネームは “The Whitemare”(白馬？)。あまり面白みの無いニックネーム…
2) His nickname is “The Whitemare,” which is just corny enough to be fun.

彼は今まで2回負けているがそれはケージレージ王者のチェミルズである。彼はTUFに出場したがジェームスウィルクスに負けてしまった。
3) His two losses as a pro are both to former Cage Rage champ Che Mills, who vied for a spot on the US vs. UK season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” but lost his elimination match to eventual welterweight winner James Wilks.

彼の唯一の判定勝ちは前回の池本戦
4) He’s only gone to a decision once, beating Seichi Ikemoto after two rounds in the opening round of the Dream welterweight tourney.

彼は以前ピンカートン探偵事務所で働いていた。(このあとは意味が分からないので省略…)
5) He was a former Pinkerton detective who is widely credited with being one of the founding fathers of the modern crime novel, though his alcoholism and persistent battles with the IRS led to him dying destitute and alone in 1951.

とのこと。とくにどうでもいいことしか書いていなかったので彼の動画を２本…

■mmajunkieによるとM-1が8月28日にロサンゼルスでキングモーとフライの試合を行うとのこと。

■cagepotatoによるとダナホワイト、UFCハワイでの開催を検討中。今までハワイでやる考えもあったが税金と使用料が高かったので見送られて来たがレギュレーションが変更したとの事。

ダナホワイトは語りました。
「ハワイでUFCを開催するぜ。ハワイでやるよ。アホみたいに高い税金が今までかかって来たんだけどそれも安くなったからアロハスタジアムでできるようになったんだ！！他の開催会場はちっちゃすぎるしね」
“We fixed the thing in Hawaii. We’re going to go to Hawaii. They had that crazy f’n tax going on…the only place we can do it is in the Aloha [Stadium]. All the other venues are too small.”

とのこと。
このアロハスタジアム、収容人数は5万人で今までのUFC開催で一番でかい会場となるはず。ハワイはBJの地元だから当然BJがメインを張りそうです。日本からのツアーもありそうですね。
